ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE AT MOTIVATION TECHNOLOGIES

JOB DESCRIPTION

Motivation Technologies is looking for a competitive, hard-working, goal-oriented Account Executive to join our team. As an AE, you’ll be responsible for prospecting, qualifying, and closing new customer relationships. This is a new position and you’ll have the opportunity to truly contribute and help impact the company as we continue to grow.

The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with exceptional hunting skills, a risk-taking personality and an inclusive mind-set.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Achieve personal goals related to KPIs – sales quota, # of discovery calls, # of demos, # of new pipeline deals.
  • Determine target accounts and conduct research against those accounts to identify the appropriate contacts.
  • Conduct discovery calls and qualify new prospects.
  • Execute outbound sales campaigns focused on target accounts (email, Direct Mail, calls, social touches, video).
  • Gain proficiency with the product, the pain point Motivation Technologies’ solves, key value propositions, and objection-handling to support opportunity development.
  • Diligently log, track, and report on KPIs, tasks, and relevant prospect information in Hubspot and other sales tools.
  • Proactively seek out professional development opportunities to hone sales craft and introduce best practices, learning and ideas to help improve sales team performance.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Critical thinker adept at solving problems with creative solutions and tactics.
  • Self-starter; ability to achieve goals without daily supervision.
  • Looking to join an established and successful online training company.
  • 3-5 years experience in sales for a startup, early-stage company, or smaller privately-owned company.
  • Passion for sales and developing relationships; avidly seeks knowledge to improve your skillset.
  • Adept at conducting entire sales process (from cold outreach to close).
  • Strong attention to detail and administrative/technical skills.
  • Energetic, outgoing, bright, good communicator.
  • Proficient with CRM, marketing automation software, and other sales tools; MS Office suite.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WOULD ALSO HAVE

  • Experience selling software or services
  • Experience with cold outreach
  • Strong sales history of meeting and exceeding goals
  • Strong personal use of social networking
